IN THE ARTIST'S WORDS
Disco Volante explores the journey of rediscovery after the fall. The world around us has shown its cards, and all that's left is to look up, in hope that there's something bigger to guide the way forward. The ultimate consolation is a connection that wants to be built on the rubble of what doesn't stand on its own.

And as we walk this road, the floor feels thin. A new way to see it all arrives in puzzles and pieces, when we choose to listen into the silence instead of bowing to the loudest thing in the room. We become extraterrestrial to our own experience, until we let go of the idea of forever, learning instead that not knowing may take me there, beyond the smallness of space time.

When I think it's me, I kiss myself, and something bigger rolls its eyes, because everything's divided by me.

Disco Volante means flying saucer, and until we land again, I guess that's what we'll be.

SHORT BLURB
Disco Volante is the new album from Empire Eyes, the Australian alternative / future pop project of a single artist who wrote, produced, mixed and mastered every second of it alone. Eight tracks, thirty-five minutes, made in a quiet room and meant to be heard the same way.

LONG BLURB
Disco Volante is the new album from Empire Eyes, the Australian alternative / future pop project behind 2024's TILT. Every part of it was written, produced, mixed and mastered by one person, alone, with no outside hands on the sound. The result is eight tracks and thirty-five minutes that move as a single piece, from the opening of "This Road" to the close of "Consolation". It isn't background music. It was made slowly, in a quiet room, and it asks for the same attention back: one sitting, start to finish, nothing else on.

PRESS RELEASE
Empire Eyes — Disco Volante. Out late 2026.

Some records are built to be found in a feed. Disco Volante was built to be sat with. The new album from Empire Eyes runs thirty-five minutes across eight tracks, and it was made entirely by one person: written, performed, produced, mixed and mastered alone.

That solitude is audible. The songs move through faith and self-deception, distance and return, with "Divided By Me" at the centre of the record, a song about the gap between grace and self-righteousness. The production leans on space as much as sound. Nothing is there to fill silence.

It follows TILT (2024), an album about the distance between what we've built and what's actually there, and the 2026 videos for "Set Me Free" and "Satori 悟り". Where TILT watched the walls thin, Disco Volante steps through.

Empire Eyes is releasing the album quietly and without a campaign, on the belief that one person hearing the whole thing is worth more than a million hearing a snippet. The ask is simple: play it once, in order, somewhere quiet.

ARTIST
Empire Eyes is an alternative / future pop project from Australia, made by one person across music, film and photography. The work circles the same questions in each form: what's real underneath what we've built, and what it costs to keep looking.

Releases include the single "In Time" (2023), the album TILT (2024), and the music videos "Set Me Free" and "Satori 悟り" (2026). Disco Volante is the second album.
